We give schools 30 days’ notice before a new company begins processing student data, and this page is updated when the list changes.

What we run ourselves
Some parts of the service run on our own infrastructure, so no additional company is involved:
- Document conversion. Word and PowerPoint files are converted for viewing on our own infrastructure, not by an outside service.
Zero data retention
The AI providers that receive student work have agreed to keep nothing once the response is returned, and we restrict student work to those providers only.
The other providers listed here support authoring — where a teacher writes the material — and do not receive student work.
